You Deserve God’s Best!

I have something so plain and simple to say today:

If any of you are in a relationship that you feel does not glorify God and does seem like it’s heading in the direction of a marriage that matches up to the vision of love that God has designed for you… Then do not be afraid to pick yourself up and get out of there.

You can’t be anyone’s second choice or option choice. You have to be God’s choice! And any guy you’re with must know and recognise that you are God’s choice… Held in the palm of His hand, made in His image and more precious than rubies. If a guy is being reluctant to make you his Number One – then you are NOT his Number One. He must persue and work to have you as his prize with no second best option.

The Bible says that a man must leave his mother and father and find a wife and cleave to her (Matthew 19:5) and that he who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favour from The Lord (Proverbs 18:22).

Thus it should be in the guy’s best self interest and for his spiritual interest to passionately persue and love and treat and honour the woman who is to be his wife… Not to allow her to be treated like she’s an option.

If you feel like you are “The Option” now, you will definitely be “An Option” in marriage too. He will have no conviction to treat you as you deserve to be: The ONLY apple of his eye..The ONLY soul mate for him…The ONLY mother of his children…

And ladies… Don’t allow yourselves to be THAT option for him either.

It’s better to have a desire to wait for the one that God has promised you… Who will treat you like you truly are SIMPLY THE BEST…

And not desire to get married now, just for the sake of having a wedding – and marrying the man who treats you like your not better than all the rest!

Faith, Hope and Love,

I always used to say “don’t make someone a priority to whom you are only an option”
I definitely need to keep reminding myself of that. I’ve waited this long for my intended, so why rush and make the wrong decision now?
I certainly don’t want to be anyone’s option or the person they settled for.

Another good one that I think women need to identify and put into effect quickly (as opposed to over months or years) is the following:
“If you’re too busy to call me, I’ll understand. If you don’t have time to check on me, I’ll understand. If you’re late on our date, I’ll understand. But if I stop loving you, it’s your turn to understand.” -> if you don’t feel appreciated…MOVE ON! May God give us all strength to do what we need to do. x
